Holiday Pilaf

Holiday Pilaf is a perfect side dish for any festive party. The fruits in this dish provides bursts of sweetness, and the chewy brown rice gives the dish its crunchiness. Great textures and taste will make this rice dish a hit at your party!

Pilaf
1/4 lb Butter
4 oz. Fideo (Fine Vermicelli)
2 Cups Uncle Bens Rice
4 Cups Chicken Broth - Boiling

Fruit Topping
1 1/2 Cups Assorted fruit
4 oz Butter
1/4 Cup Brown sugar
2 Tbsp Water

Pilaf Directions
Melt butter in a saucepan. Add fideo and brown. Add rice and chicken broth slowly. Cover and reduce to a slow simmer. Cook for 20 minutes.

Fruit Topping Directions
Melt butter. Add brown sugar and simmer for five minutes. Add fruit and water. Simmer 10-12 minutes. Spoon fruit mixture over pilaf and serve.
