this issue, Chef Bill Hassett of Masterpiece Catering
has decided to amaze your taste buds with an Appetizer.
Spring is here and with backyard BBQ’s underway,
this Goat Cheese Appetizer will be perfect. The
Goat Cheese is rolled in Herbs and Cracked Black
Pepper then topped off with Sun-dried Tomatoes,
Roasted Garlic, Kalamata Olives, Basil, Olive
Oil and served with slices of Baguette. Yummy!
This is a “must try” recipe, you won’t
be disappointed. Enjoy!
1-10oz. Goat Cheese Log
12 Cloves Roasted Garlic
6-8 Sun-dried Tomatoes
1Tbsp. Shredded Basil
16 Kalamata Olives
1Tbsp. French or Italian Herb Blend
1Tbsp. Cracked Black Pepper
1/2 C Olive Oil
Coat Goat Cheese with Cracked Black Pepper and
Herbs. Top with Sun-dried Tomatoes, Roasted Garlic,
Kalamata Olives, Basil and Olive Oil.
Slice Baguette, drizzle with Olive Oil and bake
at 375 degrees until golden brown (about 10 min).
Arrange as desired and serve.
